An 80-year-old farmer in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh was shocked when he received a notice from the district administration asking him to submit a bond of Rs 25,000 with a promise to maintain good behaviour during coming farmers’ agitation from June 1.
Ganeshram Patidar, who has been ill for last three years, is bedridden and needs help of two people to walk. “He is 80 years old. We don’t understand how he was perceived a threat during the farmers’ protest,” his family told reporters.
