Raw intro plays. Tonight, WWE Champion CM Punk will announce who he will face at Hell in the Cell for the Championship.
Big Show comes out and heads to the ring to address the fans.
Show: Two weeks ago, he was in this ring for a debate. A debate that was actually a clever joke put together by Booker T and Sheamus in an attempt to make him look foolish. He’s not the one who looks like a fool. They all look like fools telling him to watch out for the Brogue Kick. Well look what happens when Sheamus tries to Brogue Kick a giant.
A clip plays of last week when Show countered the Brogue Kick and tossed Sheamus out of the ring.
Show: He loves that look on his face. That was the look of someone in way over his head. Then on Smackdown there was another “scientific challenge”. Which was stronger, the Brogue Kick for the Knock Out Punch? He didn’t want to do the challenge, but let’s see what happened anyway.
A clip plays of last week on Smackdown when Show punched a machine that registered the punch as being stronger than the kick.
Show: At Hell in the Cell, he’s not punching a machine. He’s punching their champion, and he’s going to walk out as the world’s largest World Heavyweight Champion. Just so he doesn’t have to hear anymore vile garbage about his 45 second title reign the fans always tweet to him, he’s going to correct that mistake right here tonight. Tonight, he wants Daniel Bryan. One punch. One pin. He doesn’t want to hear about it anymore. Bring out Daniel Bryan! Bring him out right now!
Backstage, members of the WWE locker room are watching from a television monitor. Daniel Bryan and Kane are also watching.
Bryan: What are they looking at? Don’t get excited, he’s not going out there. There’s no way.
General Manager AJ Lee walks over.
AJ Lee: She thinks Big Show has a good idea. Now get out there!
Bryan tries to get reassurance from Kane, but Kane just laughs in his face.
Bryan shouts “NO”, and everyone shouts “YES” back at him as he makes his way to the ring.
Bryan steps out and heads into the ring.

Next, CM Punk reveals who his Hell in a Cell opponent will be.
[Commercial]
Paul Heyman is in the ring with the WWE Championship and something hidden under a large cloth that looks like a picture.
Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen his name is Paul Heyman, and tonight he is honored to introduce a man who carries himself inside this ring with the very same dignity and integrity he carries with himself outside the ring. Here tonight live on Raw to tell you against whom he will defend this WWE Championship at Hell in the Cell, a championship he has held and defended for 330 consecutive days, is your current reigning, defending WWE Champion…CM PUNK!
Punk comes out and heads down to the ring.
Punk: So last week was a perfect microcosm for what his life has become. Somebody acts out of turn and disrespects him, and he proves them wrong. He’s been doing it for years. Doesn’t matter if it’s Bret Hart, Mick Foley, Jim Ross, or even John Cena. He doesn’t care if it’s The Rock. But least of all, he doesn’t care if it’s any number of the fans. If they disrespect him verbally or physically he will put them down because he is the best in the world. Last week it was Mr. McMahon’s turn to find out why he’s the best in the world. Some with applaud his fighting spirit, but he thought the whole thing was sad and pathetic. Typical Vince trying to make everything about Vince. The show doesn’t revolve around one guy, but he thinks it does. He disrespected him, so he slapped him in the face. Think about it. He slapped the owner of this company in the face. Then he has the grapefruits to challenge him to a fight. And he put up a good fight, but he victimized Vince in such a way that he’s confident when he says they’ll never see Vince compete in a ring again. They can thank him for that. And it took not one but two superstars to save him. And then he has to choose his opponent at Hell in a Cell. That’s fine. But let him show them all what Vince and the others think of him. Let him show the official poster of Hell in a Cell.
The poster is shown on the tron. It features Punk looking like the devil.
Punk: Am I the devil? Compared to all of them he’s an angel. But this is how he’s treated, and we know devils don’t really exist. But let’s live in their make believe world and pretend they do. Let’s talk about his decision for Hell in the Cell. The devil he doesn’t know is Ryback, a monster of a man who physically inserted himself into a confrontation he should have no part of. The other devil is a man he knows well, a man he has broken physically and emotionally, John Cena. So who does he choose to face him at Hell in a Cell? Who will cement his legacy? The one armed man with 10 WWE titles to his name? Or is it going to be “the next big thing” in the WWE? Well, somebody once said a picture’s worth a thousand words, so he will reveal who he faces at Hell in a Cell.
Punk goes over to the cloth. The fans boo.
Punk: Uhh, a little bit of decorum and respect while he unveils, please.
He pauses.
Punk: Alright. Since they’ve been so disrespectful, maybe he’ll wait. Yeah, he’s the champ. All he’s got is time. He’s going to go to the back and think a little bit more. They all need to have patience-
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon comes out and walks on stage.
McMahon: Punk, he hoped he would’ve learned something about respect last week. Well maybe he’ll respect this. Last week he said if he didn’t make up his mind he would make it for him. He blew it! Now he’s going to make the decision. In that very ring tonight there will be a contract signing, and at that signing he will announce who Punk will face. Punk’s Hell in a Cell match is now in his hands. Respect that!
Punk, now furious, talks with Heyman about what just happened.
Tonight, Sheamus takes on Wade Barrett in a rematch of last week.

Backstage, Punk and Heyman are talking.
Punk: Power hungry, angry, old…who does he think he is to take away his decision? Who does he think he is?
Heyman: He thinks he’s Vince McMahon. This is what he was worried about last week. He can beat him up all he wants, but he can’t win-
Punk: That’s what he said, but he knows he can win. Go tell Vince that if he wants to decide who Punk picks, he has to fight him tonight. Now.
Heyman: He…wants him to tell Vince? Now!?
Punk: That’s right. NOW!
Heyman leaves.

Vickie: “EXCUSE ME!”
Vickie Guerrero comes out with Ziggler.
Vickie: She needs everybody to listen up. Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler has something important to say.
Ziggler: Let him get this straight. Ryback is the candidate for a WWE title match. Ryback. Do these people have any idea what he’s gone through to earn his Money in the Bank contract? Night in and night out he does what he does better than anybody else and steals the show. Not only that, he wins one of the most brutal ladder matches the WWE has ever seen, and only then did his earn his Money in the Bank contract. Ryback is a flash in the pan. A fly by night. Two months from now they won’t even remember his name. But do they know who will still be here? Dolph Ziggler. If anyone deserves a WWE title match, it’s him. In fact. In fact he wants to take on Punk at Hell in a Cell, cash in his Money in the Bank, and come out the WWE Champion.
David Otunga comes out and heads down to the ring.
Otunga: Dolph makes a good point. It doesn’t take a Harvard degree to know that Ryback doesn’t deserve a WWE title match. But neither does Dolph. It should go to someone who deserves it mentally as well as physically. He’s not talking about some bleach blonde show up who hangs with his mother. He’s talking about himself.
AJ Lee comes out and skips to the stage.
AJ: Dolph. David. Vickie. They all have a right to their opinions and she respects that. But instead of expressing verbally, she’s giving them a chance to express physically in a two on one handicap match against the man himself.

[Time: 01:51]
Vince is on the phone talking about Ryback and Cena. Heyman walks over to him. Vince calls him a scumbag.
Heyman: He deserves that. He understands he feels that way. He just left the locker room with CM Punk. Why would anybody come up against you? He doesn’t. But he had a very interesting talk with Punk. What Vince did with the WWE Champion was Herculean. That’s why Punk has a challenge for him.
Vince: He doesn’t understand.
Heyman: Vince never backs down from a challenge. Punk is offering that he and Vince face each other in a match tonight. If Vince wins, he picks Punk’s opponent. If Punk wins, he picks his own opponent.
Vince: Fine. They can do that. But in that match he won’t be facing Punk…he’ll be facing HEYMAN!
Heyman: NO! That’s not what he wanted!
Vince: GET OUT!
Heyman runs off.
Meanwhile, AJ Lee is skipping down the hallway. Matt Striker goes over to her.
Striker: Last week on Smackdown Bryan and Kane attacked him in the ring. He knows that when Kane attacked Josh, Josh went to the board of directors, but he won’t do that. He just wants an apology. He thinks it’s crazy that-
What did he call her?
No, he just thinks it’s nuts-
What? He thinks he deserves an apology?
AJ starts laughing.
But no, he deserves an apology. And he can get one…after his match with Kane.

Vince: Punk, he’s been thinking about this all night, heck all weekend because he knew he wouldn’t have the grapefruits to make up his own. He’s looked into the eyes of-
Punk: That’s enough! He’s had enough of his talking. He beat him so bad that he thinks he knocked a couple screws loose. He’s taking away HIS decision? Tell you what.
He writes his name on the contract.
Punk: Go ahead. He can choose. And he will do to them what he did to Vince last week and break him.
Vince: He brought this upon himself.
Punk: Talk, talk, talk. He knows he has Cena’s back. Both of them have egos and superiority complexes.

Cena: He’s not done yet. He would like nothing more than to compete against Punk for the championship. But he looks at Ryback and wonders if he even cares about the championship. He looks like he only cares about kicking someone’s ass. And with the way he’s talking right now, Punk needs to get his ass whipped. Vince, this is the easiest decision he’ll ever make. Punk will be having nightmares tonight because three simple words will be running through his head. Feed. Me. More. Feed. Me. More. Feed. Me. More. Feed. Me. More!
Cena exits the ring. Ryback walks over to the contract and signs his name.
Vince: It’s official! CM Punk will defend his championship inside Hell in a Cell against Ryback!
Ryback and Punk stare each other down. Punk mouths off the Ryback and taps his chest. Ryback slams Punk’s head against the table. He then kicks Punk, lifts him up and drops him with shellshock! As Ryback stands dominate over the champion, the show comes to an end.
