WWE has announced that The Revival will defend their Raw Tag Team Championships against Aleister Black and Ricochet. The match will take place on the April 1 edition of Monday Night Raw.
Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have had heat with Black and Ricochet recently, so this match was perhaps inevitable. It’s also an interesting bit of timing, as April 7’s WrestleMania 35 is less than a week away from the match and many fans were wondering why neither team was booked on that show.
As of this writing, 14 matches have been booked for WrestleMania. So it could very well be that there’s just no room for the Raw Tag Team titles. Interestingly enough, the SmackDown Tag Team Championships are also not currently booked for Mania either.

The Revival has its fans and those fans do not want to see Dash and Dawson lose on April 7. The duo only just won the straps and to lose them now would perhaps be premature. But there is no denying that Black and Ric have been on a roll since arriving on the main roster.
The NXT standouts have truly gelled as a team and it’s entirely possible that they will become the new champions on April 1. Whether or not they will be at WrestleMania is unknown and the same is currently true of The Revival.
