Despite returning to the ring during WWE Raw this week, WWE Hall Of Famer, Kurt Angle has hinted at possibly retiring soon.
Angle, who also appeared at WWE TLC was part of a handicap match that helped bring an end to Baron Corbin’s reign as WWE Raw General Manager, but could that be the last time we see him compete?
Angle posted an Instagram message stating, “20 years ago, I stepped foot into a WWE ring”, Angle wrote. “I told myself back then I would only go 5 years. But because of the #WWEUniverse, I continued to keep wrestling, although I left WWE for 11 of the 20 years. It feels great being able to end my career where I started.”
The final part of the message clearly hinting at possibly bringing an end to his career in wrestling. Angle’s last singles match was in November where he was defeated by Drew McIntyre, although it is unlikely WWE will have Angle’s match just be a handicap on Raw.
