As reported by L’Équipe, Spanish club Villarreal are looking at poaching current Marseille loanee Amine Harit during the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old has spent the year on loan in Ligue 1 from German club Schalke but has only recently proven useful after a handful of excellent displays, most notably against Brest last month in a 4-1 win, having spent much of the season on the bench.
Marseille are yet to decide on the Moroccan attacking midfielder’s future at the club and talks over a possible return next season at the end of his loan period are yet to open – there is no option to buy in the deal with Schalke.

This has alerted Unai Emery’s Villarreal, who were also interested in the player last summer and could soon return for him.
