According to Journal de Dimanche, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema could be drawn into the criminal investigation that Versailles police are undertaking surrounding an alleged blackmail of Mathieu Valbuena concerning a sextape that the Lyon midfielder is reported to have made with his girlfriend.
Djibril Cissé was arrested earlier this week but was later released without charge. The judge will decide in the coming days whether or not to call up Karim Benzema, who was reportedly involved “around the edges” of this saga, having been privy to certain phone conversations concerning the sextape.
