Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), India’s centrally controlled education board has managed to cause controversy yet again. The CBSE has yet again made several errors in totalling marks and has sent the students into a well of confusion.
Nobody likes to fail, but Meenakshi did after she got 16 in English. But after verification, her marks rose 400% to 80.
“Forget failing, I could not have scored anything less than 80,” Meenakshi told TOI.
“They didn’t add 64 marks, so all I got was 16, which has now become 80.”

CBSE apparently has over 10,000 requests for verification.
After last year’s fiasco around totalling errors, CBSE had assigned two evaluators to each answer book, but this didn’t yield any result. Amit from class XII scored above 90% in all subjects except geography, where he scored only 44. After verification, his marks rose to 95.Click Here: NRL Telstra Premiership
