Foot Mercato report that FC Lyon U17s attacker Yad Lochereau, one of the star attractions of the latest edition of the U16 Montaigu tournament, has received approaches via his entourage from Arsenal, OGC Nice, Ajax, Bayern Munich and Monaco.
Lochereau played for Les Aiglons in the Montaigu tournament, which OGC Nice ended up winning. On a weekly basis, Lochereau is playing at U15 level because of a delay in acquiring his FFF licence, but trains at U17 level.
His current coach, Jordan Gonzalez, had the following to say on the attacker, who has shown himself to be quick and intelligent: “There are not many true #9’s left out there and that is why he is so impressive. He is a real fox in the box even though we are making him work on other elements to make he a more complete player.”
