— There have been a few names that have been mentioned about possibilities for the position of 205 Live GM. One of the names is Summer Rae, who was released from WWE late in October.
— She was told of the 205 Live GM role before being released, but then also was informed that they wouldn’t be using her in the role as she was taller than most of the guys in the Cruiserweight division. Summer Rae ended up being released soon thereafter and it is unclear whether she would be re-considered for the role now that it is officially coming.
— Bryan Alvarez mentioned on a recent Wrestling Observer Live that he heard that the person who will come the new GM of the show is a former wrestler who hasn’t been seen on TV for quite a while.
