Paris Saint-Germain registered another victory on Saturday evening, beating Troyes via a 4-3 scoreline, with Carlos Soler, Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé all making the scoresheet for the Parisien club.
PSG confirmed the signing of Soler from Valencia during the latter part of the 2022 summer transfer window. The reigning French champions had to pay an initial transfer fee of around €18 million to lure the attacker away from the Spanish club.
Now, according to the Spaniard, it has been an enjoyable experience for him to play along with Messi, Neymar, and Mbappé. Having scored the opening goal for the home side in the Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday, Soler (as quoted by L’Équipe) said:
“It’s a pleasure to play with the best players in the world. Now they are teammates, and I am happy, as with all the others, to be at this club, with these supporters. Since I arrived at PSG, it has been wonderful. I feel more and more integrated. Last week, I started too. I scored two goals. I’ve always been a player who works hard in training. When I get the opportunity, I do the best I can. I think you can see the results. We have to keep working and think match by match.”
Thanks to the victory, PSG have managed to build a five-point lead at the top of the table. Soler has seemingly started getting more involved in Christophe Galtier’s plans.
