The Queensland Reds have confirmed flyhalf Lawson Creighton has re-signed on a two-year deal.This comes as Bond Uni trio Spencer Jeans, George Blake and Wilson Blyth sign on for 2023.Click here to purchase your tickets for the Bledisloe CupCreighton was named Reds Rookie of the Year in 2022, thrust into the starting side after an injury to James O'Connor.He went on to play 15 games for the club in Super Rugby Pacific, starting five of their last seven games.“I’m really excited to be staying at Ballymore for the next two years," he said in a statement.“I learnt a lot in my first season of Super Rugby and I’m looking forward to developing my game at flyhalf the next two seasons. “We’ve built a great culture and team at the Reds and we’re all committed to growing stronger and improving on and off the field in 2023.”Reds GM of Rugby Sam Cordingley was equally as pleased, hoping he can build off his maiden Super Rugby season.“Lawson did a terrific job directing the team on the field under difficult circumstances during the latter part of our Super Rugby Pacific season," he added."Whilst he is a very versatile player, his focus will be on continuing to develop as a flyhalf at the Reds over the next two years."We are pleased that Lawson has chosen to remain in Queensland."
