Indian-Americans are holding key positions in the US. Not only as the honchos in the corporate world in Silicon Valley, but also in the US system of governance including the Trump administration. The latest addition in this list is prominent Indian-American lawyer Neomi Jehangir Rao (45) who now has sworn as US Circuit Judge for the Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals. She replaced the controversial Justice Brett Kavanaugh.
Rao was sworn in the US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas on the Roosevelt Room of the White House on Tuesday. Her husband Alan Leftowitz was also present during the swearing-in ceremony.
