Rey Mysterio’s Final Indie Dates Possibly Approaching, The Shield Is Back On Twitter, Ciampa On Takeover Criticism

According to PWInsider.com, the final independent dates for Rey Mysterio will likely be at Lucha Expo in Las Vegas and “All In” next week. Following those events, Mysterio is expected to sign with and return to WWE. As noted, Mysterio will be teaming with Fenix and Bandido to face the team of The Young Bucks and Kota Ibushi at “ALL IN.”

As we noted last week, Northeast Wrestling has issued a statement on Facebook announcing Rey Mysterio will not be appearing at the August 24th Wrestling Under the Stars even, citing Mysterio’s “WWE contract situation” as the reason why he will be unable to appear.

Ciampa On Takeover Criticism

Below is the latest from WWE NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa, reacting to fans who claim his Takeover win only happened because Johnny Gargano suffered a dislocated knee during their match:

Popular opinion on Twitter: “Ciampa only won because Johnny dislocated his knee cap and couldn’t stand up.”

Reality: Ciampa tore his ACL five minutes into a twenty minute ladder match, and still finished the match.
