As WWE continues to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the formation of Degeneration X, Roman Reigns does not appear to be in on the celebration.
The Shield member took to Twitter today and responded to a fan who was responding to a new WWE.com photo gallery featuring WWE stars doing their best DX impersonations. The Twitter fan tagged Reigns in a Tweet which read, “we don’t need people running around here acting like DX from 20 years ago”. The quote the fan included was actually something Reigns said in an international media conference call which took place last week. During the call, Reigns addressed the current Bullet Club situation, and said WWE doesn’t need guys, like The Young Bucks, running around doing the “too sweet” gesture, mimicking old acts like nWo and DX.

Roman Reigns responded to the Tweet by telling the fan him and his boys beat DX, writing, “me and my boys beat the DX! No need to celebrate them. #TheRealestGeneration is what I celebrate and represent.”
