Stoned 23-Year-Old Tries To Buy A McDonald’s Burger In Exchange Of Weed!

In economics we read about the barter system where our ancestors would buy and sell goods using the barter system. Merchants would buy goods in exchange of goods. However, the reason this system wasn’t successful because there was no standard amount of measurement available.

If you have to buy a kg of rice and you are exchanging it with seven coins of gold then you are making a total loss. And this is how currency was developed in the first place- to have a standard amount of measurement.

A man in Florida seems to have taken this system seriously as he attempted to buy his McDonald’s order in exchange of Marijuana. International news agency AP reported that a 23-year-old man went through a McDonald’s drive-thru and tried to pay for his order with a bag of marijuana.
