Tonight’s WWE Raw Season Premiere Preview: Seth Rollins Defends Against Rey Mysterio, Lesnar Appears, More

Tonight’s WWE Raw sees the premiere of a brand new season as WWE ushers in a new era on a jam-packed episode of the red brand.

After earning a title shot last week, Rey Mysterio will face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship on WWE Raw, and that isn’t the only title match set to take place on the show.

Cedric Alexander will be challening AJ Styles for the United States Championship, and SmackDown Live tag team, Heavy Machinery will be making their presence known as they take on Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler for the Raw Tag Team Titles.

As well as all of that, Alexa Bliss will be going one on one with Sasha Banks in singles competition, while their respective partners are at ringside.

The Beast, Brock Lesnar is also set to make his return to WWE Raw tonight just days before his WWE Championship match against Kofi Kingston.

Two WWE Hall Of Famers are also scheduled to appear as Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair guest star on Miz TV tonight.

There have also been strong rumors about a potential set design change tonight, as well as the return of pyro to the show, although it is unclear if that will happen or not.
