For the first time ever in the same ring, two-time WWE Hall of Famer “Nature Boy” Ric Flair joined Monday Night Raw’s dynamic drifter Elias for the performance of a lifetime.
After their in-ring performance together, Elias and the “Nature Boy” caught up backstage in Cincinnati to reflect on the importance and history of Starrcade.
Bayley, Sasha Banks, Ember Moon and Dana Brooke teamed up for a Raw brand 8-woman tag team match, picking up a victory over the powerhouse collection of Nia Jax, Tamina Snuka, Alicia Fox and Mickie James.
In a match that would have seemed completely impossible just a few years ago, lucha legend Rey Mysterio teamed with the “Bulgarian Brute” Rusev to take on Smackdown’s A-Lister The Miz, and United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura.
Following their victory, Rey Mysterio and Rusev, along with Lana, celebrated a happy Rusev Day backstage at WWE Starrcade in Cincinnati.
In one of two steel cage matches headlining the show, former WWE Champion AJ Styles fought against his career-long rival Samoa Joe in the Starrcade main event.
