Former MLB “Million Dollar Arm” Pitcher Joins the WWE Performance Center

As reported first on ESPN.com and later WWE.com, former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Rinku Singh is the newest signee to WWE, and will be joining the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on Tuesday.

Singh won India’s 2008 “Million Dollar Arm” reality TV series and later signed with the Pirates, making him the first major league pitcher to ever be in Major League Baseball.

Singh remains hopeful after impressing coaches and trainers in an invitation-only tryout in Dubai, India in which he 40 male and female athletes at the Dubai Opera House.

“As long I stay focused and stay strong, just as I have over the past 10 years with baseball or track and field … it will lead me in the right direction.”
